A history of breakthroughs.
Since 1988, De Nora has been strategically committed to serving the Indian market, building a strong local presence to better support customers operating in fast-growing industrial sectors. In 1989, De Nora Group, together with trusted Indian partners, expanded its footprint by acquiring Wimco’s Metal Anode Division in Panwaria Village, Rampur (U.P.), forming Titanor Components Limited. This move ensured continuity, reliability, and localized expertise for customers relying on high-performance electrode technologies.
To support increasing demand and deliver faster response times, De Nora India further invested in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Goa, located at Plot Nos. 184, 185 & 189, Kundaim Industrial Estate. Equipped with advanced production technologies, the Goa facility enables De Nora India to efficiently serve the rapidly expanding chlor-alkali industry, as well as other electrochemical and industrial applications, with consistently high quality standards.
Customers benefit from a dedicated team of specialists, a centralized technical database, and direct access to De Nora’s global technological know-how. This integrated approach ensures tailored solutions, optimized performance, and long-term operational efficiency.
The true strength of De Nora India lies in its deep technical expertise and its highly trained specialists, who work closely with customers to understand specific operational needs. Backed by direct technical support from De Nora’s global engineering teams, De Nora India is uniquely positioned to co-develop optimized, application-specific solutions that maximize productivity and asset lifetime.

Three generations, one vision.
From a curious boy in Altamura exploring his father’s workshops, Oronzio De Nora grew into a visionary entrepreneur. In 1923, he founded De Nora, pioneering electrochemical innovations like electrolytic cells, sodium hypochlorite production, and later DSA® anodes that transformed chlor-alkali production. With his brother Vittorio, he advanced titanium-based coatings and expanded applications beyond chlorine, including corrosion protection and metal production.
His son Niccolò inherited the legacy, driving global expansion, developing membrane cells, and consolidating De Nora as an international leader.
The third generation, Federico and Michele, modernized management, strengthened teamwork, and continued strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and technological development.
Today, De Nora stands as a century-old, global pioneer in water treatment, energy, and electrochemical processes, delivering clean, future-ready solutions.
